There are just so many wonderful local musicians and talented people that we have featured on the radio since we started six years ago, we thought it would be great to get them all involved in a Musicathon to promote the radio project and support other local arts projects."
Mr Sinclair added: "We've had our heads down organising all the practical details and responding to all the people volunteering to take part. We were looking at the schedule yesterday and realised we hadn't got a local brass band. That's just wrong – we need one!"
