Cross Gates: Fire crews free trapped driver

Firefighters freed a driver from his car after a road accident in Cross Gates.
The Volkswagen Polo crashed into a lamppost in Station Road at about 8.50pm on Saturday, August 9.

The driver, said to be in his 20s, was taken to hospital by ambulance. His injuries were not serious.
