1st Cross Gates Brownies and Guides and 1st Manston Guides have been busy in the recording studio putting together a music CD. Click here for more details.
Leader Jean Barnbrook wanted to reward the girls for their efforts in helping her recuperate after an operation on her hand.

So she arranged for the pack to go and record a CD of music at a studio in Castleford.

The 12-track offering includes renditions of pop favourites including I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing by >> and Abba's Thank Your For the Music.

Miss Barnbook said: "The girls really enjoyed the recording expoerirence and one or two of them have to have a really good voice. We are hoping to record another CD next year."

* Anyone wanting to get hold of a copy of the CD, priced at £2.50, should contact Jean Barnbrook on 0780 9879010.
