Cross Gates mum proves breast is best
Cross Gates mum Claire Rivers was named the winner of the YEP's Breastfeeding Belles competition as health workers, midwives and mums across Yorkshire marked the start of this year's National Breastfeeding Awareness Week.
Claire was presented with a bouquet at the launch of the Breastfeeding Belles exhibition which shows mums breastfeeding in ball gowns at various Leeds landmarks.
Claire, who is mum to seven-month-old Marcus, won the reader's vote after she was pictured breastfeeding among the fruit and veg at the city's Kirkgate Market.
