Crossgates Shopping Centre hosts memory lane exhibition

Crossgates Shopping Centre is hosting an exhibition of photographs of east Leeds from the 1930s to 1960s.
The event is taking place at the Centre on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26.

Memories of Our Old East Leeds includes sporting teams and school pictures and will be on display alongside over 100 photos of the Market District Boys' Club during the 1940s and 1950s.

The event has been organised by Graham Hawkridge, who arranges reunions for people who lived or were brought up in the East End Park, Cross Green and Richmond Hill areas, and Ronnie Fisher, who was connected with the Boys' Club.
