Official Government figures show that since mid-January the rate of positive Covid cases per 100,000 people in Leeds has been falling. It's now down to 113.2, but the figure is still higher than the average infection rate in England - which stands at 69.9 cases per 100,000 people.
Infection rates vary across the city's local neighbourhoods and 26 Leeds areas recorded an infection rate of DOUBLE the national average in the seven days to March 2, the latest available figures.
The neighbourhoods with an infection rate of more than 139.8 are: Roundhay West, Garforth West, Belle Isle North, Morley Bruntcliffe & Woodkirk, Morley East, Farsley South, Stanningley & Pudsey North West, Rodley & Stanningley Park, Colton, Austhorpe & Whitkirk, Morley North & Gildersome East, Yeadon East, Bramley Fall.
