An eighteen-year-old man has appeared in court charged with attempting to murder a man who suffered serious stab injuries in a street in Leeds.

Osvaldo Rodriquez appeared before Leeds Magistrates Court in connection with an incident on Dewsbury Road, Beeston, on Saturday (June 6).

A 21-year-old man was stabbed in an alleyway between the Abu Bakr supermarket and the BFC chicken shop.at around 5pm.The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and received stitches to lacerations to the back of his head.
