Halton Moor have been truly four-midable this season – but the last thing they will be doing is resting on their laurels.
The all-conquering outfit swatted aside their rivals in a one-sided race for the Leeds Sunday League MSF Premier Division title, winning 18 games and losing just once in a remarkable streak which saw them finish a whopping 16 points clear of the pack.

If that wasn't enough, Moor also tasted success in the Leeds & District FA Sunday Senior Cup – where they beat crack Leeds Combination League outfit HT Sports in the final.

They also lifted the JFC Sports Trophy and MSF Motors Group Trophy following victories over New Middleton and Hunslet Green respectively.

But Moor are yearning for more, according to boss Danny Walsh, who has also revealed his frustration at Leeds Combination League bosses for refusing to grant them a place in their division.

He told Cross Gates Today: "Three years ago we won the Senior Cup, league and cup but this year we've gone one better. But there's still plenty more to aim for.

"We didn't enter the (West Riding) County Cup because of a mix-up over paperwork and in the FA Carlsberg Sunday Cup, we drew one of the better sides in the early rounds.

"We are hoping to do a bit better in those competitions – and we will get our paperwork in on time!"

Walsh added: "We've applied for the Leeds Combination every year and have won our league for five of the last six years, but keep getting rejected.

"Other teams such as Red Star Harehills and Hunslet Green have got in and I'm taking it a little personal.

"We've beaten their league's top three – Beech Celtic, HT Sports and Fforde Grene Brazil – and would like to give their league a go one year."
